What is Precision Wellness or PACT?

PACT = Precision Acceptance and Commitment Coaching. Strange name, rooted in good science. The goal of PACT is to help you identify unhealthy thoughts and feelings, and behaviors that might hold you back from getting to where you really want to be. Precision Wellness Coaching brings PACT from the science textbook to your living space.

Who this course is for and what will you get from it?

Burnout should not be taken lightly, yet is not addressed in most ABA programs. It can lead to doing the bare minimum as well as ethical breaches. We work in highly stressful environments, and need tools to prevent that stress from leading to burnout. BCBAs , BCaBAs, Clinical Directors, Agency Owners, Registered Behavior Technicians, and BTs will learn to identify symptoms of burnout in themselves and others. A behavior analytic approach to burnout will be taken: participants will leave with their own “burnout plan” that addresses prevention strategies, replacement responses, and plans for when stress is just too much. We will provide you insight on how to effectively realign with your values, reduce and address negative or unwanted thoughts, and bring enjoyment back into your passion. In addition, how to go about teaching these techniques to others will also be embedded. We will also address how supervisors can create environments that lead to well-being.
