For Michaela Brown, an inside-out approach to fitness is the key to happiness. With a few added doses of creativity and a lot of energy, this New York City native has inspired many to live a more health centric lifestyle revolving around diet, exercise, and self-love. Michaela graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Government, minoring in Japanese and Inter-Arts and was the first African American to play Field Hockey Georgetown. As a captain, she led her team to the NCAA postseason twice and a national ranking.
Michaela holds certifications as a personal trainer from NASM-CPT, AFAA, and is a certified Barre Instructor, Advanced Bodypump Instructor, Pro Skills ZUMBA Instructor, and TRX. She stays busy as the General Manager at VIDA-Logan Circle, one of the largest fitness boutiques in Washington, DC, and the owner of Mi Fitness, an internet based fitness company.
